Imagine a student who reads textbooks for 20 hours, takes classes and writes notes, and sleeps for the remaining 4 hours. After four years of living in this mode for another 3 months, you need to look for a job with a normal salary and eat oatmeal … Does not inspire? Then let’s talk about higher education in Austria. There it is the other way round – 2-3 days of classes per week, practice at enterprises and a diploma with which it is easy to build a career. What else is interesting in Austrian universities – we will find out right now.

Features of studying at universities in Austria
In Austria, everything is different: no bureaucracy, abstracts, daily lectures, seminars and tests. Students study most of the material on their own, and classes on campuses take 2-3 days a week. From the first courses, medical students assist doctors in clinics, and combine the study of technical specialties with an internship in technology companies. No waste paper or wasted time. Only real skills and useful knowledge.

One of the semesters must be allotted to foreign practice within the framework of Erasmus – an international internship program for students. This means that in addition to Austria, you can see life in another country and get more experience.
